Timothy Dale Wright, Sr. died peacefully surrounded by his family April 23, 2024, in Lexington at the age of 62 years 2 months 22 days. Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 9, 2024, at the Union Hill Baptist Church, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.
Tim was born February 1, 1962, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Jerry Allen and Ramona (Mayo) Wright. Nurtured amidst the landscapes of Purcell, Lexington, and Duncan, he imbibed the essence of life and learning. In the tapestry of existence, on June 5, 1992, Tim intertwined his fate with Jennifer Richter in Columbia, Missouri. Their union bore witness to his dedication as he traversed the realms of construction, co-owning the esteemed venture of Wright Construction. A craftsman by trade, Tim wove threads of diligence and passion into every project he undertook. Amidst the vast tapestry of his interests lay Tim's love for adventure - from the exhilarating hum of motorcycles to the tranquil solace found in hunting, fishing, and camping under nature's canopy. The melodies of familial bonds accompanied him on these pursuits; be it at the shooting range with his son or while scouring for mushrooms in earth's hidden nooks. Yet beyond these moments etched in time lies the heartbeat of Tim's essence - a profound love for his family and friends. In their presence, his spirit found solace and joy; crafting memories that shall stand as pillars of strength in times to come.
Tim is preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Ramona Wright; his brothers, Jerry Lynn Wright, Dorcey Allen Wright; and a nephew, Mathew Allan Sims Jr. Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Wright; his son, Timothy Wright Jr and wife, Angel; his daughter, Octavia Towne and boyfriend, Dylan; his stepchildren, Michael Walters, David Walters, Teresa Walters, Marquita Walters; his grandchildren, Izabelle Towne, RaOnna Rodriguez, Grace Wright; his siblings, Marci King and husband, Chuck, Debbie Biffle and husband, Steve, Todd Wright and wife, Heather, Caleb Dane Wright; and numerous other relatives and friends.
