Terry Nixon

Terry Lee Nixon died August 15, 2019 in Dibble at the age of 59 years 9 months 2 days. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at the Freewill Baptist Church in Dibble, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at the Dibble Cemetery entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

Terry was born November 13, 1959 in Corning, California to Harise and Elza Marie (Boehning) Nixon. He was raised in Dibble, graduating from Dibble Schools in 1978. Terry worked for many years as a truck driver for Hiland Dairy. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and softball. Terry loved spending as much time with his family and friends as possible.

Terry is preceded in death by his father, Harise Nixon; step-father, Claude "Blackie" Elam; and his grannie, Lela McKee. He is survived by his mother, Elza Elam; son, Nicholas Nixon and wife, Brandi; daughter, Kristi Wiggins; grandchildren, Caleigh Nixon and Jax Nixon; siblings, Jimmy Nixon, Glen Dale Nixon, Regina Pittenridge, Barbara Miller, Shorty Toland; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
