Shana Brown

Shana Marie Susaan Brown died October 15, 2017 in Moore, Oklahoma at the age of 44 years 10 months 29 days. Gravesite services are scheduled for 3:00 PM, Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the Noble IOOF Cemetery in Noble, Oklahoma entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

Shana was born November 17, 1972 in Norman, Oklahoma to Deaune and Patricia (Ogle) McElhaney. She was raised in the Norman/Noble area, graduating in 1991 from Noble High School. She married Jody Mitchell Brown on June 10, 1991. They were married for 19 years before Jody’s death in 2010. Shana loved spending time with her family, especially her grandbabies. She loved her music, enjoyed her friends on facebook, cars and nature. Shana enjoyed taking care of her animals, cooking, baking, photography and flowers. She was an avid Dallas Cowboy and Oklahoma Sooner fan. Shana was always helping others.

Shana is preceded in death by her father, Deaune McElhaney; husband, Jody Brown; mother-in-law, Carlene Hanks; aunt and uncle, Jeanne and Jake McElhaney. Survivors include her children, Aaron Brown and wife, Brittany, Patrick Brown, Ashley Monse and husband, Dalton; grandbabies, Alissa, Dalton, Ella, Ayden, Brooklyn; siblings, Debby Clark, Jody McElhaney, Shaun McElhaney, Rick McElhaney; special friends, Ronda Wright and Terry Neill, and numerous other relatives and friends.
