Robin Epimeio Lopez

     Robin Epimeio Lopez died peacefully surrounded by his family June 27, 2024, in Purcell, Oklahoma at the age of 51 years 29 days. A viewing is scheduled from 8AM to 5PM, Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel. 

     Robin was born May 29, 1973, in Xela, Guatemala to Epimeio Lopez Barrios and Reina Gramajo Aguilar. Robin's journey led him to the United States at a tender age of 16, where he embraced his new home and eventually attained the esteemed status of a US citizen. A man of remarkable determination and entrepreneurial spirit, Robin realized his dream of establishing himself as a skilled welder. His relentless drive and unwavering commitment to his craft set him apart in his profession. In a union that epitomized love and devotion, Robin joined in matrimony with Yanet Leon Zarate on April 8, 2022, in the serene surroundings of Purcell, Oklahoma. Together before marriage for six beautiful years, their bond stood as a testament to enduring love and mutual respect. Robin's true pride and greatest joy resided in his role as a loving father to his cherished children. His nurturing presence and guidance will forever resonate in their lives, shaping them into individuals of strength and character. Among his passions were the thrill of motorcycles, the allure of fast cars, and the satisfaction found in mending automobiles and coveted corvettes. These pursuits brought him joy and moments of exhilaration amidst life's journey. In a profound spiritual awakening, Robin embraced the teachings of Jesus Christ and chose to follow the path of Catholicism. His faith journey culminated in a poignant baptismal ceremony in 2023 within the embrace of Oklahoma City's spiritual community. With unyielding courage and steadfast resilience, Robin faced the formidable challenges posed by ALS since receiving his diagnosis in 2022. Throughout his battle with this relentless adversary, he exemplified grace under pressure and an indomitable spirit that inspired all those around him. 

     Robin is survived by his parents, Epimeio and Reina; his wife, Yanet; his children, Robin Lopez, Gloria Lopez, Joshua Lopez, Abby Wednesday Leon, Emma Leon, Kayla Lopez, Miguel Lopez, Angel Lopez, Imaya Lopez; his grandkids, Isaac Lopez, Sergio Lopez, Henry Lopez; his siblings, Jose Lopez, Melvin Lopez, Efren Lopez, Wilder Lopez, Lisset Lopez, Luisa Lopez, Esperanza “Pia” Lopez; his dog, CoCo; and numerous other relatives and friends.
