Paulette Lemaster

Paulette Gale Lemaster died February 2, 2022, in Purcell at the age of 74 years 7 months 29 days.  Private family memorial will be scheduled for a later date, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

Paulette was born June 4, 1947, in Purcell, Oklahoma to Jesse and Bobby (Quick) Lester.  She was raised in Purcell, graduating in 1965 from Purcell High School.  Paulette married Larry Wayne Burton in 1966 and were together for 5 years. In 1972, she married James Lemaster, and were together 24 years.  Paulette worked at Tinker Air Force Base for many years, until her retirement.  She had a passion for quilting and her family meant the world to her.

Paulette is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Bobby Lester; her brother, Dennis Lester; and in the last year, her granddaughter, Brittany Ann Drake.  Survivors include her sons, Clayton Burton of Lexington, Jason Lemaster of Mcloud; her sister, Diane Lester of Purcell; her brothers, Jesse Glen Lester of Purcell, and Ronnie Lester of Tucson, Arizona; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
