Pat was born October 29, 1934, in Whittenburg, Texas to Jasper Gaines and Nancy Helen (Brooks) Roberts. The tapestry of her life unfolded in the heart of Texas before a new chapter beckoned the family to Sulphur, Oklahoma, where Pat walked the path of her youth until she donned the cap of graduation in 1953. A pivotal moment ensued on June 26, 1954, when she exchanged vows with Doyle Deforest Mann, Sr. in Gainesville, Texas, thus weaving the fabric of their shared existence. In the symphony of their love story, echoes resounded through time as they nurtured their family nest after moving from Midwest City in 1967 to Purcell, Oklahoma. Together they sculpted a life adorned with precious moments and heartfelt memories until fate veiled Doyle's presence in 1980. Amidst the ebb and flow of life's currents, fate presented another companion for Pat in 1983 – Henry Ketchum, a steadfast partner whose unwavering presence enriched her days for 41 years. Through the chapters of her spiritual journey, Pat sought solace and community at Union Hill Baptist and First Baptist of Purcell, finding kinship within their walls. In the tapestry of her interests and pleasures, Pat found joy in simple treasures – be it the camaraderie found within a bowling alley, the rhythmic exuberance of country line dancing, or the tranquil serenity enveloping a fishing escapade or camping retreat. Her spirit found solace and stimulation in unraveling word search puzzles that mirrored her penchant for seeking patterns amidst chaos. Yet above all pursuits resided Pat's truest passion – her family. Gathering them close at every opportunity became not mere tradition but an anthem echoing her deepest sentiments. Her benevolent gaze found greatest delight in witnessing generations intertwine - from grandchildren to great-great grandchildren - each embodying a fragment of her love that shall endure beyond earthly confines.
