Narciso Montelongo Fraire died April 19, 2022, in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 63 years 9 months 4 days. Rosary services are scheduled for 6:00 PM, Sunday, April 24, 2022, at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Monday, April 25, 2022, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Purcell, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Noble IOOF Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.
Narciso was born on July 15, 1958, in Durango, Mexico to Tomas Montelongo Mora and Margarita Fraire Calderon. He was raised in Mexico, coming to the United States around the age of 18. Narciso has held many jobs throughout his years but worked almost 20 years as a machinist for Highland Dairy. He was known as a joker who would talk to anyone, whether he knew them or not. Above all, Narciso loved his family.
Narciso is preceded in death by his father, Tomas Montelongo Mora; his sister, Maria del Pilar Garcia Montelongo; and his son-in-law, Sergio Escobedo. Survivors include his mother, Margarita Fraire Calderon; his ex-wife, Gloria Montelongo; his daughter, Topacio Montelongo; his son, Gisano Montelongo and spouse, Maria Victoria Santos-Montelongo; his son, Narciso, Jr. and spouse, Lorena Montelongo; his son, Pablo Santos Montelongo; his step-son, Daniel Renteria Santos; his grandchildren: Gizmo Montelongo Jr., Selena Montelongo, April Montelongo, Daniel Montelongo, Diego Montelongo, Emilee Escobedo, Sergio Escobedo, Ashton Escobedo, Luna Nicole Montelongo, Carlos Colt Montelongo, and Calli Rose Montelongo; his siblings: Martin Montelongo Fraire, Maria Elena Montelongo de Dosal, Miguel Montelongo Fraire, Patricia Montelongo de Hernandez, and Tomas Montelongo Fraire; and many other family and friends.
