Nancy Cypert

Nancy Sue Cypert died November 9, 2017 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 71 years 6 months 7 days. Gravesite services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Monday, November 13, 2017 at Hillside Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

Sue was born May 2, 1946 in Abilene, Texas to Overton Love and Pearl (Eudy) Turner. The daughter of a minister, Sue was raised and attended many different schools, but graduated in 1964 from Purcell High School. On September 5, 1964, she married Dale Dee Cypert in Wetumka, Oklahoma. She loved painting, and flower gardening. Sue loved her family and spending time with her grandkids was her favorite thing to do. She enjoyed attending different functions and social events with them. Sue also enjoyed watching her favorite soap opera, The Young & The Restless.

Sue is preceded in death by her parents, Overton and Pearl Turner; husband of 33 years, Dale Cypert; and a brother in law, Michael Heskett. Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Lang and husband, Barry of Rosedale; son, Jerry Cypert and wife, Janel of Norman; grandchildren, Kasie, Taryn, Jeffrey and fiancé, Cheyenne; great grandchildren, Brantley and Dallas; siblings, Frank Turner and wife, Joyce of Colorado, Julie Heskett of Texas, and Andrea Versace of Tulsa and many other relatives and friends.
