Myrna Lee Inglis passed peacefully January 18, 2025, in Lexington at the age of 75 years 4 months 15 days. Inurnment will be at Noble IOOF Cemetery at a later date, entrusted to the care of Wadley's Funeral Service.
Myrna was born September 3, 1949, in Exeter, California, and was the cherished daughter of Knox Laverne and Lillian Marie (James) Griffin. At a young age, the family relocated to Ames, Oklahoma where Myrna blossomed into adulthood and where she graduated in 1967. Myrna dedicated many years of her life to serving as a Commissary Attendant at Vance Air Force Base in Enid, exemplifying her commitment to her community and the values of hard work and service. On December 19, 2001, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, Myrna united in marriage with Marvin Inglis, and together they built a life filled with love and joy in Noble, while Marvin worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Purcell Municipal Hospital. Myrna embraced a variety of hobbies and interests that enriched her life and brought her joy throughout the years.
Myrna is preceded in death by her parents, Knox and Lillian Griffin; and her husband, Marvin Inglis; and several siblings. Survivors include her sons, Travis VanHauen and wife, Sundy, Justin VanHauen and wife, Kory; her stepchildren, Jonathan Inglis, Michael Inglis, Austin Inglis, Andrea Ryan; her grandchildren, Carson and Riley; her brothers, Matthew Griffin and Mark Griffin; and numerous other relatives and friends.
