Michael Wayne Coleman passed away January 18, 2025, in Oklahoma City at the age of 74 years 1 month 11 days. Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 1, 2025, at the Parkland Cemetery Pavillion. Services are entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.
Mike was born December 7, 1950, in Delta, Colorado. He was the oldest child of Wayne J. and Patsy Jean (Covington) Coleman. He would later welcome his brother Terry and sisters Rebecca Jo, Gayle Gentry and Dana Lynn. After Wayne and Patsy divorced, he welcomed his brother Scott Maurice Miller. Mike married Lucretia Louise Harper on October 11, 1969. After they divorced, he married the love of his life, Nancy Carol Bryce on May 7, 1982. Mike and Nancy lived a life of fulfillment and went on many adventures and vacations together. They never tired of each other’s company and remained dedicated to each other until her death on January 12, 2021. Mike worked his entire adult life in the steel industry as a drafter, project manager, and finally a salesman, working in Oklahoma and California. Although Mike had no children, he welcomed stepdaughters Shana and Lorie Bone. Mike and Nancy enjoyed spending time with and spoiling the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Patsy Coleman; his wife, Nancy Coleman; his siblings, Dana Lynn, Gayle Gentry, Scott Miller, Rebecca Fick; and stepdaughter, Lorie Bone. Survivors include his brother, Terry Coleman and wife, Catherine Ann; his stepdaughter, Shana Bone; his brother-in-law, Jack Fick; his aunts, Doris Keller and Cuba Odom; his uncle, Herman Coleman; numerous nieces, and many other family members.
Mike will be remembered for his generosity, sense of humor, and love of life.
His final resting place will be next to the love of his life, Nancy.
