Mary Bell (Lansdale) Hall died October 16, 2018 in Lexington, at the age of 87 years 3 months 23 days. Committal services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Chappel Hill Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.
Mary was born June 24, 1931 in Atoka, Oklahoma to James and Bertha (Williams) Lansdale. She was raised and in Stringtown, Oklahoma, attending Midway Schools. On March 8, 1971, she and James Richard Hall were united in marriage in their home in Lexington, Oklahoma. Mary worked several years for the Department of Corrections in Lexington, and as a beautician. She was admired for her cooking, crocheting, and sewing skills. Mary also enjoyed arts and crafts, along with collecting glassware. She and Richard loved playing Dominos, and Skip Bo.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, James and Bertha Lansdale; her son, Bobby Hall; her daughter, Pam Plott; 2 grandsons, Kevin Hall and Zachary Hall; 3 brothers, Joe Lansdale, JT Lansdale and Junior Cook. Survivors include her husband, Richard, of Lexington; sons, Eugene Hall and wife, Connie of Springdale, Arkansas, Jerry Hall and wife, Debbie of Sulphur, Oklahoma, Ronnie Jones and wife, Jacquie of Lexington, Oklahoma, Tony Hall and wife, Jennie of Mannsville, Oklahoma; 15 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
