Marjorie Louella Parker died November 13, 2017 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years 11 months 18 days. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Friday, November 17, 2017 at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.
Marjorie was born November 26, 1935 in Lexington, Oklahoma to John and Sadie (Jeter) Boyd. She was raised and attended school in Lexington. Marjorie worked many years as a Nurse Aide in Nursing homes and home health. She married Carl Jack Parker on March 5, 1975 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. They were married for 23 years before his passing in 1998. Marjorie loved painting and drawing, sewing, quilting and working in her flower gardens. She also enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Easy Times Bowling League.
Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents, John and Sadie Boyd; husband, Carl Jack Parker; son, Billy Wayne Cooley; daughter, Sue Logan; son in law, Jimmy Logan; sisters, Lily Mae Thompson and Evelyn Johnson; brothers, Odes Boyd, Louis Boyd and John Boyd. Survivors include her daughter, Debora Klepper and Mark of Washington; grandchildren, Marcy Logan Stein and Barker of El Paso, Texas, Taleena Klepper Manning and Chris of Blanchard, Oklahoma, Jimmie Dawn Logan of Bristow, Oklahoma, Christopher Klepper and Rose of Washington, Oklahoma, Larissa Klepper Brown and Kurt of Washington, Oklahoma, Gary Logan and Dyanna of Bristow, Oklahoma, Tony Logan of Bristow, Oklahoma; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; brother, Floyd Boyd; sister, Lillian Johnson and many other relatives and friends.
