Maria Jurado

Maria Alejandra Jurado died May 5, 2019 in Purcell at the age of 28 years 9 months 28 days. Services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel. Mass will follow at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

Alye was born August 8, 1990 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Rosa Estrada Jurado. She was raised and attended school in Purcell. Alye continued her education, becoming a certified Nurse Aide. She worked in long term care all over the area, but recently for the Norman Veterans Center. Alye loved spending time with her family, fishing, camping, taking care of her truck, being outdoors, and listening to country music. She enjoyed raising her dog Rowdy and getting tattoos.

Alye is preceded in death by her grandparetns, Dolores and Jose Jurado; great aunt, Marie Elena Magdalena; aunts, Marie Alejandra Jurado and Marie Jurado Isebell. Survivors include her mother, Rosa Jurado; siblings, Daena Jurado, Cristina Jurado, Pablo Jurado, Miguel Marroquin, Jr., Lionel Jurado; nieces and nephews, Emily Jurado, Jovani Rizo, Eli Cantu, Sophia Cantu, Jaden Cantu, Isic Cantu; aunts and uncles, Bertha Jurado, Jose G. Jurado, Romana Jurado, Bernadino Jurado, Maria Jurado; and many other relatives and friends.
