Lynda Kinney

Lynda Jean Kinney died August 13, 2019 in Lexington at the age of 67 years 10 months 26 days. Memorial Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

Lynda was born September 18, 1951 in Purcell, Oklahoma to Leonard Samuel and Wanda Jean (O’Bryant) Slate. She was raised in the Noble area, graduating from school in Noble around 1971. Lynda was a hard worker and worked in housekeeping and many other jobs in long term care. She loved spending time with her family, especially her sister and grandkids. Lynda enjoyed her beloved dog, Rocky and missed him terrible after his passing.

Lynda is preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Slate; her sister, Brenda Songer; her nephew, Samuel Slate. She is survived by her father, Lynn Slate; her children, Meshelle Reed and husband, Russell; Anson Alexander and wife, Amber, Joshua Kinney and wife, Jennifter, Zachariah Kinney, and SeaAira Slate and fiancé, Tyler Idlett; grandchildren, Micah, Serah, Nathen, Rebecca, Angilene, Michala Jo, Nickolas Don, Christopher Lynn, Brittany, Tiffany, Taylor, Christopher Reich, Kiara Jean, Brodey Samuel, Skyler Ruth Ann, Alexander James, Isaac Scott, Elaina Nicole; great grandchildren, Arya, Kamber, Adrianna, Paisley; siblings, Billy Slate, Debbie Slate and Mike Slate; her grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
