Linda Johnson

Linda Faye Johnson died June 13, 2017 in Lexington at the age of 64 years 9 months 14 days. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Friday, June 16, 2017 at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery in Lindsay, Oklahoma, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

Linda was born August 30, 1952 in Lindsay, Oklahoma to Junior and Pauline (Cunningham) Webb. She was raised in the Payne Community, graduating from Wayne High School around 1970. She continued her education at the Mid-America Technology Center. Linda worked as a Certified Nurse Aide for many years as well as at Award Design metals in Noble and the Thunderbird Casino in Security. On December 15, 1995 she married John Johnson in Payne, Oklahoma. Linda enjoyed gardening, traveling, and being outside. She loved spending time with her family, especially helping her son with his Show pigs and her husband with the cattle. Linda was of the Baptist faith.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Junior and Pauline Webb; and her husband, John Johnson. Survivors include her son, Darrell Bennett and wife, Edith of Bristol, Virginia; daughter, Lecia Coronado of Fresno, California; grandchildren, Chris of Pauls Valley, AJ and Geanne, both of Purcell, and Nicholas of Bristol, Virginia; siblings, Kay Miller of Lindsay, Ray Webb of Maysville and many other relatives and friends.
