Kenneth Brown died December 17, 2020 in Purcell, Oklahoma at the age of 82 years 5 months 25 days.  Memorial services are pending and entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.
Kenn was born June 23, 1938 in Los Angeles, California to Willie T. “Bill” and Carman Daisy (Hays) Brown.  He was raised and graduated from school in Los Angeles, California.  Kenn was inducted into the United States Army, proudly serving his country in the 1960's.  After his honorable discharge, Kenn worked as an Insurance Agent.  He made Purcell his home in the late 70's, and has served on the Purcell City Council.  Kenn was a man who enjoyed life to its fullest, with lots of laughter, bear hugs and love for everyone.  His favorite pastime was having coffee with the guys, telling stories, much embellished, of days gone by.  Kenn was always willing to walk that extra mile to befriend someone, maybe offer a big smile, or one of his huge cigars, and a hearty handshake.
Kenn is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Carmen Brown; his brother, Jim Brown; his sister, Zee Kutlesa; and great grandson, Justyce.  Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Brown; his sons, Bobby and wife, Misty, Kelly, Randy and wife, Lisa; his grandchildren, Alisha and husband, Patrick, Ashlee, Dyln, Madison and Matthew; his sister in law, Jaye Brown; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Kenny Brown, how we will miss you!  We lost a great man and heaven gained another angel.  Spread your wings and fly, as we can only imagine.  As we go through life, we are always wanting more and more, however the secret lies in Psalms 23, “The Lord is my shepherd.... I shall not want..”
