Kathleen Marie Booker died September 3, 2017 in Purcell at the age of 58 years 10 months 19 days. Memorial Services are scheduled for 1:00 PM, Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Wayne, Oklahoma. Services are entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.
Kathy was born October 14, 1958 in Alameda, Oregon to Charles and Delores (Bethard) Vinyard. She was raised in California attending Pleasant Valley High in Chico, California. On June 13, 1976 she married James Wallace Booker, and they made their home in Wayne, Oklahoma. Kathy was a member of the Indian Territory Roundup Club, and enjoyed making saddles, doing leather work, horseback riding, horse training, hunting, and painting. During her life, she held a few different jobs, including Insurance Agent, Realtor, Taxidermist, and Construction Business Owner. Kathy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wayne, Oklahoma.
Kathy is preceded in death by her father, Charles Vinyard; and stepson, Cory Booker. Survivors include her mother, Delores Revier; husband, Jim Booker; stepdaughter, Jamie Cody and husband, Adam; sisters, Karen Cody, Kimberly Vinyard, Michele Revier; brothers, Chuck Vinyard, Garrett Vinyard, Keith Vinyard; grandchildren, Heather Gonzalez, Derek Womack, Matthew Cody; great grandchildren, Izak Gonzalez, Melia Gonzalez, Nora Rose Womack; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
