Judy Ann Bryant died peacefully, May 4, 2024, surrounded by her family in Purcell at the age of 65 years 9 months 16 days. Memorial Services are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 11, 2024, at the Wadley’s Funeral Chapel.
Judy was born July 19, 1958, in Lawton, Oklahoma to John and Pearl (Dixion) Jones. Her formative years unfolded in Maysville, Oklahoma, culminating in her graduation from Maysville High School in 1976. It was on a Valentine's Day, February 14, 2001, when Judy exchanged vows with her beloved Eric Bryant in Russellville, Arkansas. Together they crafted a home filled with love and warmth in Purcell. Judy's days were adorned with the joy of bringing people together; she delighted in hosting gatherings, parties, and reveling in holiday festivities with her cherished family. Amongst her most treasured moments were those spent enveloped in the love of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Judy found solace and joy in the art of dance and the tranquility of nurturing her garden alongside her devoted husband.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents, John and Pearl Jones; her siblings, Buddy Jones, Linda Boyce, Larry Jones, Jimmy Ray Jones; and her great grandchild, Nova Martin. Survivors include her husband, Eric Bryant; her daughters, Misty Edwards, Christy Martin, Janie Tisdale; her son, Micheal Edwards and wife, MiKayla; her grandchildren, Vanessa Martin and Jordan Shannon, Elicia Martin, Julien and Gracie Martin, Eli Haneline, Elliott Cooper Edwards, Wyatt Edwards, Kylie Edwards, Mya Tate Tisdale, Haysen Lee Tisdale; her great grandchildren, Kayn Shannon, Kyson Shannon, Kavonte’ Shannon, Kinsley Martin, Cora Martin; and numerous other relatives and friends.
