Joel Edward Carter

Joel Edward Carter died October 21, 2023, in Wanette, Oklahoma at the age of 65 years 8 months 10 days.  Private family Memorial Services are scheduled for a later date, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.  

    Joel was born February 11, 1958, in Indiana, Pennsylvania to Joel Luther and Betty Elizabeth (Walls) Carter.  He was raised in Pennsylvania until the 1980's when the family relocated to Oklahoma.  Joel worked as an automobile mechanic for many years.  He enjoyed tinkering on cars and anything with a motor.  

    Joel is preceded in death by his father, Joel Carter; his mother, Betty Carter; his sister, Pamela Parish; and his brothers, Ralph Wall and John Carter; his nephew, Gary Parish.  Survivors include his sisters, Sandra Miller, Reba Carter, Ruth Carter; his brothers, David Walls; numerous nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
