Jesse Tecumseh, Jr.

Jesse Allen Tecumseh, Jr. died June 29, 2022, in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 75 years 1 month 7 days.  Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

Jesse was born May 22, 1947, in Talihina, Oklahoma.  He was raised and attended school in Oklahoma City, graduating from Northwest Classen around 1965.  Jesse married Gail Ann Shepherd on June 1, 1968.  They were together for 8 years before they separated as friends. In his younger years, Jesse was an Eagle Scout and went on to be a Scout Master for years in San Angelo, TX.  He was inducted into the United States Air Force, proudly serving his country for over 25 years, until his retirement as a Master Sergeant on July 31, 1991.  Jesse earned many decorations, awards and citations during his time in the Military.  He married Kyong Suk “Suki” Park on April 15, 1982.  Jesse was also a Mason and enjoyed going to the casino and collecting coins, but his favorite past time was fishing.  He really enjoyed going on fishing trips with Operation Freedom Outdoors, with other veterans.  Jesse loved spending time with his family and was proud of his family BBQs.

Jesse is preceded in death by his father, Jesse Eugene Tecumseh; his mother, Doris Jean (Hood) Harding; his brothers, Bill Harding and Leroy “Tink” Harding II; and numerous aunts and uncles.  Survivors include his wife, Kyong Suk Tecumseh; his dad, Leroy Harding, Sr.; his son, Chris Tecumseh and wife, Wendy of Pensacola, FL; his daughter, Teresa Tecumseh of Wanette; his daughter, Tammie Brenek and husband, Jarrad of Round Rock, TX; his grandchildren, Kyle Tecumseh and wife, Ricki of Shawnee, Jordan Tecumseh of Pensacola, FL, Taylor Craig of Moore, Chloe Brenek of Round Rock, TX, his sister, Teresa Hamlin and husband, Larry of Oklahoma City; his brother, Todd Tecumseh of North Carolina; his sisters, Diane Tecumseh Elliff of Illinois, Kathy Tecumseh Alexander of Claremore, OK;  his sisters-in-law, Wilma Harding and Janice Harding; his nephews and nieces, Glen Carter and wife, Michelle; Leroy “Tinky 2" Harding III and wife, Brandi, Eldon Harding and wife, Stephanie, Billy Harding Jr. and wife, Johnna, Michelle Peters and husband, Eric; and numerous other relatives and friends.
