Jennifer Black

Jennifer Lynn Autry-Black, 31, passed over to the loving arms of her Savior, Monday morning, February 11, 2019, at her mother’s home in Norman, Oklahoma after a short but brave fight against metastatic melanoma.  Gravesite services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Denver Cemetery in Norman, Oklahoma.  Services are entrusted to the care of Wadley's Funeral Service, Inc.

Jenny was born September 9, 1987 in Dallas, Texas to Michael and Sandy Autry.  She was raised and attended school in Noble.  Her love, her innocence, her loyalty to family and friends, and her trust in God were beyond question. Jenny married Ronnie Lee Black on July 18, 2008.  Jenny enjoyed country life, swimming, training her own horses, fishing with her husband, and time with those she loved.  Jenny faced the challenges in her life head on with courage and perseverance.  In her last hours, she never asked "why me", refused pain medications, and faced the task ahead like the warrior she was.

Jenny is welcomed into Heaven by her grandparents and her loving God.  She is survived by her father, Michael Autry; mother, Sandy Forsythe; step-father, Paul Forsythe; husband, Ronnie Lee Black; siblings, Robby, Jake, Cody and Montana; nephews and nieces, and a multitude of friends whose lives she forever touched.
