Evelyn Mottinger

Evelyn Christine Mottinger died October 23, 2021 in Lexington at the age of 95 years 5 months 20 days.  Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at the Washington Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

Evelyn was born May 3, 1926 in Dibble, Oklahoma to Manford and Bertie (Wilkie) Lee.  She was raised in Dibble, graduating in 1942.  Evelyn married Paul Mottinger in 1946 in Washington, Oklahoma.  She was a life long Jehovah Witness church member.  Evelyn enjoyed sewing, making quilts, and farming.  She loved spending time with her family and raising her grandchildren.

Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents, Manford and Bertie Lee; her husband, Paul Mottinger; her sisters, Ruth Garside, Pauline Lee, Patricia Alexandra; and her grandaughter, Mollie Aldezan.

She is survived by her son; Randy Mottinger; her daughters, Paula Grossman, Linda Sommers; her brother, Leon Lee; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
