Doris Jean Ziesch

     Doris "Jeanne" Jean Ziesch died February 15, 2024, in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 78 years 2 months14 days.  A family memorial service will be scheduled at a later date, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

     Jeanne was born December 1, 1945, in Frederick, Oklahoma, a precious daughter to Charles and Anna Marie (Evans) Hill. Her upbringing in Frederick culminated in her graduation in 1964. Jeanne pursued further studies with unwavering dedication and earned a master's degree in special education in 1972. For numerous years thereafter, she imparted her knowledge and care within the realm of Special Education in the Oklahoma school system until her retirement from Oklahoma City public schools in 2010. Beyond her professional endeavors, Jeanne found joy and solace in various pastimes such as watching Thunder Basketball games, exploring ceramics, and capturing moments through photography. Above all else, her heart found its greatest fulfillment when surrounded by loved ones, especially her adored grandchildren.

     Jeanne is preceded in death by her parents, Charles “Chub” and Anna Marie Hill; and her brother, Howard Hill. Survivors include her daughter, Chondra Maddox and husband, John; her son, Jason Ziesch and wife, Judy; her daughter, Jeannine Ziesch-Mantooth; her brother, Charles Hill; her 8 grandchildren, Chance, Caitlyn, Ryan, Keynan, Ashley, Justin, Katie and Keira; her 5 great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
