Deborah Walker

Deborah “Debbie” Leona Walker died January 7, 2022, in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 74 years 30 days.  Memorial Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Friday, January 14, 2022, at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

Debbie was born December 8, 1947, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Elzie Raymond and Vesta Oleta (Zimmerman) Sellars.  She was raised in Oklahoma City, graduating from John Marshall High School in 1965.  Debbie worked as a Respiratory Therapist for Lindsay Hospital for years, before going to work at Purcell Municipal Hospital.  She was married to Auston Casey for 23 years before the couple went their separate ways.  Debbie was married to Chris Walker for 17 years before his passing in 2019.  She loved to dance and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Four wheeling, hunting, and fishing were some of her favorite things to do.  Debbie also enjoyed watching TV at times, especially Netflix and Hulu.

Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, Elzie and Vesta Sellars; her husband, Benny Chris Walker; and her brother-in-law, Gary Hill.  Survivors include her children, Anna Diaz and husband, Robby, Chandelle Scoles and husband, Jeremy, Shawn Casey and wife, Veronica, Tiffany Divelbiss; her grandchildren, Brandon Diaz and wife, Savannah, Cody Diaz, Courtney Cheatwood and husband, Travis, Jaci Scoles, Elli Scoles, Spencer Rogers; her great grandchildren, Walker, Scarlett, Haven, Makina, Lakyn, Luca; her siblings, Jimmy Ray Sellars and wife, LaDonna, Linda Hill; and numerous other relatives and friends.
