Carrie Williams

Carrie Opal Williams died July 6, 2020 at her home in Noble, Oklahoma at the age of 31 years 10 months 22 days.  Memorial Services are scheduled for 1:00 PM, Saturday, July 25, 2020 at the Wadley’s Funeral Chapel entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.
Carrie was born August 15, 1988 in Ada, Oklahoma to Harold Rudolph Sr. and Glenda LaRae (Patton) Williams.  She was raised in the Tribbey/Lexington/Noble area, graduating in 2006 from Lexington High School.  She continued her education at OCCC and OSU OKC earning her associates degree in 2016 and recently in 2020 for American Sign Language.  Carrie found her passion training to become a professional ASL interpreter.  She enjoyed spending time with her friends at deaf coffee chats and several interpreting events.  Carrie loved her 2 dogs, Izzy and Spear, her 3 cats, Biscuits, Schnitzel and Milly.  She loved coffee more than words can express.  Carrie enjoyed being outdoors, hiking, rock climbing, camping, gardening and cooking.  She loved reading, movies, and arts of all kinds, especially painting and calligraphy.   Carrie loved to watch hockey, and her favorite teams were The Blazers and The Barons.  She also loved The Seattle Seahawks  football team.  Carrie loved spending time with her pets, friends and family most of all.
Carrie is preceded in death by her father, Harold Williams, Sr.; her stepfather, Larry Miller; her grandparents, Leonard and Blanch Williams; her step grandmother, Loretta Patton; her step grandfather, Lynn Mitchell; her  great grandparents, Amon and Hazel Patton; her great grandmother, Carrie Gage.  Survivors include her mother, Glenda Miller of Oklahoma City; her brother, Glen Williams of Belfair, Washington; Grandmother, June Mitchell; Grandfather, Larry Patton; aunt, Debra Riley and husband, Marshall; cousin, Rex Abbott III and wife, Jenna; and numerous other relatives and friends.
