Brittany Gates

Brittany Morgan Gates died January 24, 2018 after a six year battle with Adrenal cancer, at the age of 27 years 11 months 9 days. Memorial Services are scheduled for 3:00 PM, Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

Brittany was born February 15, 1990 in Norman, Oklahoma to Nathan Gates and Sherri (Hall) Adams. She was raised and attended school in Norman as well as Pine Hurst, North Carolina, graduating in 2008 from Pine Hurst. She became a Welder by trade after completing her vocational education. Brittany was an amazing artist, and loved to draw and design. She enjoyed gaming, cats, and spending time with her family and friends. During her six year battle with Adrenal cancer, she gave birth to her son, Jonathan.

Brittany is survived by her son, Jonathan Powell; mother, Sherri Adams and husband, Mike of Norman; father, Nathan Gates and wife, Adrien of Norman; siblings, Taylor Gates, Tristan Adams, Zachary Adams, Dylan Haralson, Allie Haralson, Kallie Haralson; her cat, Sweet Pea; grandparents, Johanna Hall of Purcell, Karen Gates of Lexington, Antonia Messena-Gates of Fate, Texas, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, who will all greatly miss her.
